Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Slotup’s mobile applications, slotup.in, and related services. By creating an account or completing a booking you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

The service
Slotup connects players with sports venues (turfs, grounds, and related facilities) for hourly slot booking. We provide listing, availability, payment, and notification tools. Slotup is a technology platform. Venue operators are independent businesses responsible for their facilities, rules, and on-ground experience.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. One person should not share OTP access. Owners represent they are authorised to list and manage the venues they submit. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or harm other users or venues.
Bookings and payments
A booking is confirmed after successful online payment unless stated otherwise in the app. Prices shown per slot include the venue’s listed turf price. Your first 5 paid bookings have no Slotup platform fee; after that a 1% platform fee may apply as shown at checkout. Promotional codes, when offered, apply as shown at checkout.
- While you checkout, selected slots are held for about 5 minutes so another player cannot take them.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay. You authorise us to charge the displayed total and to initiate refunds when a valid cancellation occurs.
- You are responsible for arriving on time and following venue house rules (footwear, equipment, conduct).
Player cancellations and refunds
Player cancellation rules:
- Free cancellation in the app at least 24 hours before your slot start time.
- Inside that window you cannot cancel in the app. Plan travel accordingly.
- After the slot end time you cannot cancel in the app; contact the venue or support if the facility was closed or unusable.
- When a cancellation succeeds, refunds are initiated to your original payment method. Refund timing follows Razorpay and your bank; track status in the app.
Owner cancellations
Venue owners may cancel when necessary (weather, maintenance, player request, etc.):
- Before slot end: owners may cancel anytime; affected players receive notice and a full refund.
- After slot end: owners have a 48-hour grace window to cancel if they forgot (e.g. rain during play) so a player refund can still be processed.
- After the grace window, in-app owner cancellation is not available. Contact Slotup support for exceptional cases.
Check-in at the venue
Owners may verify bookings by scanning the player’s in-app QR code. Check-in typically opens 45 minutes before slot start and remains available until 15 minutes after slot end. Early scans may show verification without recording attendance until the check-in window opens.
Venue listings
Explore listings are reviewed by Slotup before publication. Owners must keep photos, sports, amenities, pricing, and availability accurate. Owners block slots for walk-ins or maintenance so the live calendar stays truthful. Slotup may delist venues that repeatedly mislead players or breach policy.
Fees
Players pay the listed turf price at checkout for their first 5 paid bookings (no platform fee). After that, Slotup may add a 1% platform fee on turf, shown before payment. Venue owners pay a 3% platform commission on paid online bookings only, not on walk-ins or direct deals. Commission is deducted from owner settlement as described in the owner agreement. Payment gateway costs are absorbed by Slotup per our commercial terms with owners.
Prohibited conduct
You may not misuse the platform, attempt to circumvent payments, scrape data, harass staff or other users, post false reviews, or use Slotup for unlawful activity. We may remove content and terminate access for violations.
Disclaimers
Venues are operated by third parties. Slotup does not guarantee pitch quality, safety equipment, or weather. The service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. Our liability for booking disputes is limited to amounts you paid Slotup for the affected booking except where law requires otherwise.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after the updated date on slotup.in/terms constitutes acceptance. Material booking rule changes will be reflected in the app where possible.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
